Here's "Skeletons Vol.1", my very first BEAT TAPE ever. In every sense.
These are some of the very first beats I've been ever producing back in 2001 (and there's some of 2003). I bought my Akai MPC 2000 XL and I started to sample from old dusty records to make beats for my friends MC's.
I was really depressed at that time because Ego B -one of my best friends and one of the best Mc's I've ever met- had a terrible accident and went to coma, my girl-friend left me and then there was the G8 summit in the city where I'm from, Genova, and my city had been raped by police and dark powers.
I put all the bad feelings into these beats. It's been a really good therapy, even if they're not mixed at all... This is why I love Hip-Hop anyway.
