PRESS RELEASE — The Weight of Silence (Compilation by Davide Perico & Chill Italy)

“The Weight of Silence” is a global charity compilation bringing together Italian artists and musicians from across the world, united by a single purpose: transforming music into concrete support for a family struck by tragedy.

All proceeds from the compilation are being entirely donated, via GoFundMe, to the family of Renee Good, the woman and mother killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. This project stands as a collective act of solidarity, compassion, and responsibility.

Curated by Chill Italy in collaboration, the compilation gathers a diverse roster of artists whose contributions reflect a shared commitment to justice and human dignity. Their music becomes a space of remembrance, empathy, and action.

The compilation is distributed on all DSPs and It is also available on Bandcamp, where purchasing the release is strongly encouraged, as it is likely the most effective way to raise funds.

To ensure full transparency, a dedicated PayPal account has been created exclusively for collecting royalties from streaming platforms.
Each month, a public Google Drive folder will be updated with:
